Building on a very positive season Vancouver whale watching operator Wild Whales has commissioned a second foil assist catamaran for their Granville Island based operations. Passenger comfort and fuel efficient 30kt+ cruising speeds make this one of the most versatile boats in the Pacific Northwest fleet. These vessels are able to operate in conditions that see the rest of the fleet tied to the dock. This vessel, named Eagle Eye, will have a top speed of 38 kts running Yanmar 430 hp diesels with Hamilton jets. Builder is Armstrong Consolidated in Port Townsend WA. Launch is set for May 2017.
