A third USACE Survey Boat was developed by FASTcc and Technology Associates incorporated as a typical Hysucraft and named DAMRELL.
It is slightly larger than the latest 2 USACE Survey Boats and larger propulsion is incorporated with 2 * 1200 HP MAN Diesel Engines and twin Hamilton Waterjets HM461.
Continuous cruising speed is 34 knots and Top Speed full load is 38 knots.
The hull is equipped with twin Trim Tabs for boat trim at speed control in case of load and LCG variations.
The hulls have an overall length of 62’ and a width of 23’ 10,9” with a draft around 3’3” for 47,6t metric.
The hydrofoil system is of all aluminium and in tandem arrangement.
